Forgiveness- the action or process of forgiving or being forgiven.
Forgiveness is not about the person who you need to forgive.
Forgiveness is for you.
Not giving the other person the power to control you is forgiveness.
Ephesians 4: 31-32, “Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other just as Christ forgave you.” NIV version
From friends who leave you in the worst time in your life, or not answering a phone call, only reaching out to you when they want something and or talking about you behind your back. What about that friend that was riding with you through it all? And when you become obedient to the word of God, it’s a problem. The ones who have lack of knowledge on what a friendship is. Forgive them!
To family not inviting you to family events, not being present in a time of need, maybe even getting into a big argument, you reached out and received nothing back. Forgive them!
Maybe it’s that person that hurt you mentally, physically, or spiritually using words or actions. Forgive them!
See they have moved on, they sleep well. If someone walks out of your life, let them. Forgive them and then thank God for making room and getting rid of dead weight.
Jeremiah 29:11- “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to give you hope and a future.” NIV version
God has you in His hands, no matter what, don’t trip!
